Shadow is a high-end, cloud-based computer accessible on any internet-enabled device. Just like any Windows 10 PC, you can use it to work, play or browse - it has the specs to handle any game, and comes with an integrated fibre connection, perfect for downloading any game or uploading a video at the speed of light.
We’ve only played a few hours of Prey Typhon Hunter multiplayer which is why we’re doing a impressions rather than a full Prey Typhon Hunter review. To be honest the new mode is quite slight - a small selection of maps and mechanics you can get your head around in a couple of minutes.
As Morgan Yu you need to find five mimics before the clock runs down - hitting them with a wrench and occasionally grabbing a Psychoscope to see through their disguises. As the mimics you need to run down the clock and can help your cause by picking up energy to prolong disguises or ambush Yu to waste his time. Simple.
You’ll see both mimics and Morgan in this Prey Typhon Hunter gameplay. I have to be very careful not to write Typhoon Hunter, as that would be a very different game. This is very similar to Prop Hunt, the Garry’s Mod mode that does incredible numbers in YouTube videos, but that we’re too scared to play because we don;t understand memes. Typhon Hunter is much more our pace.
Prey Typhon Hunter is available for anyone who owns Prey Mooncrash DLC - an absolutely fantastic add-on for the main game that you really should be playing, regardless of free prop hunt games that come with it.
